Well, I am finally motivated enough to return to this old site and try to update it. It's been a long time since I updated anything here. Hope to get that fixed asap. Got a lot going on right now in my life gaming wise, Me and Matt "My Son" have gotten back into Magic the gathering full time. We hope to make it back to the upper levels of the game soon. As for me and my online gaming .... currently I am not playing anything. Maybe I change that soon as well. Stay tuned .... I should have a lot of website updates coming very soon.
Stop by the forums and drop me a line. I should have everything that is important linked up along the right side of the page, so keep an eye on that.
With Chuck approving it, how can I go wrong!

Another Friday Night Magic is in the books. The banning of Jace, the Mind Sculptor and Stoneforge Mystic has really shaken up things. I found out just how bad it hurt my Splinter Twin deck. I think I can adjust the deck with some new draw cards, will post tournament results next week about how they did.

I have a few other reports from previous tournaments, not all of them but some of them. We just returned to the game last December. I will try to post reports from all my tournaments I attend from now on.

Finally Magic 2012 has been fully spoiled. I have been reading tons of posts on the MtG Salvation forums about how it affects Standard when it goes live.. As for my Exarch Twin deck, the only thing at this very moment that I am adding is going to be 4 copies of Ponder dropping my 3 copies of Foresee and dropping back down to 25 lands. We will see how it goes.
The full spoiler has been posted on the Salvation forums. It's a tight list, with a bunch of reprints and a lot of new cards added as well. If you would like to check em out, click the link below.

I live in Waycross Georgia ... small town way way down south in Georgia. There are no Gaming stores in my town, so for FNM and all other tournaments we have to go out of town which is currently Douglas Georgia for FNM and Jacksonville for the ones larger than FNM but not HUGE ones like SCG or TCG of course we drive to Atlanta or Orlando mostly for those.
Towns around Waycross that run tournaments are ....
45 minutes East of us: 99% of there tournaments are Draft.
45 minutes West of us 100% of there tournaments are Draft.
34-50 minutes South of us appears they just changed over to 95% of there tournaments are Draft.
35 minutes North of us we have FNM Standard (thank god)
Why are all the stores changing over to just Draft? Am I missing something? An hour and a half South of us is Jacksonville and Standard is thriving there. There Draft events take second place next to the main tournaments which are Standard. It's not like the towns West and South of us were not Standard heavy in the past. I have been to tournaments West of us 25-30 deep for FNM and 15-20 deep for Standard south of us and both areas have some pretty good players for constructed. Now all of a sudden *poof* no more Standard.

After Adjusting my Exarch Twin deck from last weeks Friday Night Magic, I felt like I had it tweaked the way I needed it to be. We had several more players from Waycross show up and these guys were no joke. They came to win. Funny part is, I played against these guys all night, I had a rough pairing tonight. Anyways, check out the links below to read last nights report as well as all other previous reports.
